SUMMARY:Red Road To Recovery
DESCRIPTION:The Red Road group works with individuals who want to break the cycle of abuse\, suicide\, addiction\, and hopelessness. The Red Road offers a safe place for people to share their experiences and provides the necessary tools for coping and dealing with daily challenges. This group includes White Bison teachings\, Medicine Wheel teachings\, Healing Ways education\, and recovery support. (Participants must be SNAHC patients and/or register via member services to participate). Classes will be held every Thursday from 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm in the Kutba Room at 2020 J Street\, Sacramento\, CA 95811. DESCRIPTION:This group will allow a space for support\, processing\, learning\, and skill building. Facilitators will teach you skills for your toolbox to help you manage your symptoms of depression. You will be introduced to and have the ability to practice useful coping skills. \nThis group will engage in learning things i.e. What is Depression\, Core Beliefs\, Sleep Hygiene\, Food for your Mood\, Creation of a Self-Care Plan\, Cognitive Thought Processes\, and Mindfulness Techniques/Exercises.
