Sacramento, California – August 20, 2019 – Sacramento Native American Health Center (SNAHC) is pleased to announce Maria Rodriguez as the new Dental Services Director. Maria joins SNAHC with over 20 years of management experience working for the most vulnerable populations in Napa and Solano Counties. She previously worked at OLE Health where she helped manage four dental departments across two counties. She worked alongside her team to ensure that things ran seamlessly and that both patients and staff had an exceptional experience.
“Maria’s passion for community dental health is visible with every employee and patient interaction. She strives to support her team in having the tools they need to ensure a positive patient experience by delivering the highest quality standards,” said Priscila Gonzalez, Chief Operations Officer.
Over the course of her career, Maria learned that many communities lack dental information and are unaware of how dental care plays an important role in their health. This disparity led to her passion of pursuing a career in community health with a focus on dental. “Having been a patient at a community health center makes me appreciate the hard work and synchronized coordination of services that needs to happen in order to provide the highest quality of care to our patients,” said Maria.
As Dental Services Director, Maria will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the Dental department and will partner with the Dental Director to support the development, management, and continuous quality improvement of all Dental programs and related staff.
