It is with great excitement that WEAVE has received a grant through Cal OES to provide deeper services to Native victims of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Sex Trafficking within the Sacramento area. For several years now, we have been working with SNAHC on a DV and Healthcare Project and this new funding will allow the expansion of services to additional agencies and the greater Native community in this area. We would like to invite you to participate in a planning lunch meeting on Thursday, August 18th from 12p-2pm at our midtown office located at 1900 K Street to hear about the details of the grant, provide feedback on community needs, and to brainstorm potential developments of this new opportunity. Please RSVP by email and forward this email to other people that you feel should attend. Also, please feel free to reach out to myself or our Native Specific Counselor, Jesse Sanchez, for questions.
