Philosophy of Care:

I am passionate about preventive medicine and chronic disease management. I am dedicated to making a meaningful impact through prevention—whether that means reducing risk before disease develops or supporting patients in slowing progression through attentive, ongoing care. I prioritize building authentic relationships and creating space for open dialogue about each patient’s goals, values, and priorities.

My approach is collaborative and grounded in meeting patients where they are, helping them navigate their health in ways that feel realistic and sustainable. I believe that education, understanding, and access to the right resources are essential to long-term well-being. No matter where someone is in their journey, it is never too late to take steps toward better health.

What I love about working at SNAHC:

I really enjoy working at Sacramento Native American Health Center because it allows me to serve one of the most underserved populations with some of the greatest gaps in access to resources and healthcare needs. Even though the work can be challenging at times, it is very meaningful because it aligns with our purpose of providing culturally responsive, whole-person care and advancing health equity for Native American and other underserved communities. I also appreciate that leadership is strongly aligned with the vision, which helps ensure that decisions and priorities stay focused on the needs of the patients and community we serve. What makes the experience especially rewarding is the support of my coworkers and our shared commitment to improving outcomes, which keeps me grounded in the purpose behind our work.
