Youth Garden Day

Dig into a day of discovery, culture, and community in the garden! We’re inviting youth ages 10-17 to take part in a hands-on garden experience where you’ll learn practical gardening techniques, explore what food sovereignty means, and gain insight into Indigenous food cultures. Bring a hat, sunscreen, and clothes you can get dirty! Siblings of participants who are under 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Where: SNAHC Florin Youth Center and Garden from 1 pm to 5 pm
