Brain Spotting Level 1
Professional Interests / Specialties:
Brain spotting is a therapy that helps people process past pain and trauma that they are holding inside of themselves, it can help bring relief to long held pain and is an effective treatment for a wide variety of conditions including PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Often examples, messages and lessons we learned in early life can continue to impact us throughout our lives in ways that we do not recognize. Speaking with a therapist can allow you to better understand yourself and learn new lessons from your past. I have experience working with veterans, survivors of trauma, personality disorders, and people with serious mental illness.
Spoken Languages:
English
Philosophy of Care:
Together I work with my patients to identify patterns of thought and behavior in their life, and we work together to address those patterns. Additionally, we identify things that we cannot change and work on ways to make those burdens more bearable. I foster an environment where a patient can express themselves without fear of rejection or judgement and bring a true and authentic connection to the people I work with.
What I love about working at SNAHC:
I love working with providers to help ensure that my patients are receiving the best care that I can provide in my community.
