Philosophy of Care:

Dr. Jimmy Tran was trained in minimally-invasive dentistry to prevent disease and improve patients’ oral health. Not only does he treat teeth and the surrounding tissues, but he focuses on the health of the oral cavity as a whole. With better oral education and hygiene, patients can minimize the damage to their teeth from decay, periodontitis, and other pathologies.

Dr. Tran chose dentistry because he wanted to pursue a career where he gets to work with his hands and be able to provide patients with compassionate dental care. He strives to treat patients while providing the most comfortable and respectful experience as possible.

What I love about working at SNAHC:

I love working at SNAHC because I get to be a contributing community member in my favorite city. Here, I have the opportunity to serve a high-volume of patients that are grateful for our SNAHC team. Starting as an extern at SNAHC, I grew to love the teamwork and camaraderie that keeps the staff working like a close-knit family. While working at the Sacramento Native American Health Center, I am able to provide much-needed care to those who may not have other options for access to dental care. Having come from a disadvantaged background, I am empathetic for my patients and give them the care and treatment that I would expect for my own family.
